Susan Flis was an elementary classroom teacher for over 20 years and then spent 2 years as a literacy interventionist and instructional coach before becoming an assistant professor at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×. Her research is grounded in critical literacy theory and focuses on supporting teachers in instructing with inclusive picture books.
